Forgotten Fabulousness Friday

A lazy and undoubtedly non-reoccurring occasion where I reverse-sort my music library by number of plays and see what kind of shit I have laying around that I forgot about, and then make you listen to them:

Faith No More: Easy

Bobby Darin: More

Weezer: Undone

Monkey Wrench: It's Your Right. (an unfortunately shitty live recording is all I could find quickly)

William Clarke: Pawnshop Bound

Shellac: Watch Song

There! Plenty of variety for everybody to have something to hate.

  1. I like it all. But then, we've determined that I have a problem.

    2. Also, evidently driftglass doesn't like me poking at Geese Howard's facade -- he didn't let a couple of my comments through over there. I haz a sad.

    3. Actually, I would be surprised. He let all that "magic Battery Water" fol de rol through, even though he finally asked us to kindly knock it off. His comment tolerance is pretty wide; I know he draws a hard line at revealing real info about bloggers or commenters, or threats; but most everything else goes through.

Geese is as annoying with his "everything revolves around DC" shtick as J. Otto is with Ghana.

    4. Actually, Jotto is less annoying, almost cute in an ADD way.

    5. The rates of ADD diagnoses are much lower in Ghana.

    6. When I was in Ghana, the prime minister made a point of introducing me to Jottopo. Delightful man, the prime minister I mean. Lovely teeth, it's something Ghana is known for, unlike the U.S.

  3. you mean this one?

"Yeah, I never see any hippies out here. And if I did, it wouldn't matter. Except if I needed something to punch, or something. I'm not really sure what his "DC and NY are the only real places so fuck you" schtick is actually about."

    1. No, he made another comment in a newer thread about which fucking country club was the "right" one or some other stupid shit and I replied to that, but it never got let through. I didn't think it was over the top, but who knows. The dude just grates on me for some reason.

    2. yeah, me too. The self-congratulation and self-centeredness is pretty grating.

Not as much as the water battery loon though.

    3. Well yeah, that dude was straight-up bonkers. Like tea-party-level bonkers.

    1. You may be able to guess that I like the Faith No More version better.
