So I shut down my heart, and I turned on my TV

The title is a great lyric from the title track of the new punk/country album Mayberry by one of my all-time favorite local bands I Can Lick Any Sonofabitch In The House.

      Been listening to it all mixed in with all the other new Summerfest music to date, so haven't focused on it...

      OK, now I listened, I like it. More than a bit related to Gaslight Anthem.

      But if you like that, you should check out The Championship, that I linked to on the Summerfestblog. Definitely in the same wheelhouse.

      I agree, but the bandcamp setup is directly from the band. They'd rather offer their first album for free to get the music out there, than go through the hassle of printing up more copies. Their merch girl assured me it was OK.
